24 березня 2026 року спільнота здобувачів вищої медичної освіти разом із викладачами кафедри мікробіології, вірусології та імунології долучилася до відзначення Всесвітнього та Всеукраїнського дня боротьби з туберкульозом. Ця дата є символом солідарності медичного світу в подоланні однієї з найдавніших інфекційних загроз людства. Цьогорічні заходи та інформаційні повідомлення, підготовлені майбутніми лікарями, пройшли під життєствердним глобальним гаслом «Yes! We can end TB» («Так! Ми можемо подолати туберкульоз!»). Основний акцент просвітницької роботи був спрямований на розвіювання міфів та поширення ключового меседжу: туберкульоз — це не вирок, а виліковне захворювання, за умови вчасної діагностики та дотримання сучасних протоколів терапії. / On March 24, 2026, the community of higher medical education students, together with the teachers of the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology, joined in celebrating the World and All-Ukrainian Day to Fight Tuberculosis. This date is a symbol of the solidarity of the medical world in overcoming one of the oldest infectious threats to humanity. This year's events and information messages prepared by future doctors were held under the life-affirming global slogan "Yes! We can end TB!" ("Yes! We can overcome tuberculosis!"). The main emphasis of educational work was aimed at dispelling myths and spreading the key message: tuberculosis is not a sentence, but a curable disease, provided that it is diagnosed promptly and modern treatment protocols are followed.
